ABOUT ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Conference papers provide participants with the opportunity to verbally share the results of theoretical, empirical, or applied studies in education and related fields. Papers may be grouped according to thematic sessions in the program. Each session will have a session chair, who is responsible for allocating time and facilitating discussion.

For joint papers, one author should be designated as the corresponding author and presenter. This person is responsible for submitting the abstract, informing co-authors about the acceptance process, and registering once the paper is accepted. The presenter's name will appear on the presentation table. Only completed research studies will be accepted as papers.

Paper presentations should follow the principles outlined in the TÜBİTAK “Handbook for Effective Presentations”. You can review the publication here:

Paper Information

Paper Title:

  • Use Times New Roman, 12 pt, bold, centered.

  • Maximum 12 words.

  • Only the first letter of each word capitalized.

  • If the study is a project, thesis, etc., indicate this in a footnote.
    (e.g., This study was produced from part of the 2219 TÜBİTAK project …)

Author Information:

  • Names should be Times New Roman, 11 pt, regular, centered, immediately under the title.

  • Format: First letter of the first name capitalized, surname in uppercase. (e.g., Erkan KIRAL)

  • Additional details (corresponding author, institution, email, ORCID) should be included in a footnote.

Abstract:

  • Use Times New Roman, 10 pt, single-spaced, justified, without paragraph breaks.

  • Word count: 150–300 words.

  • Include: research purpose, methodology, design, year and period, participants/sample, results, and some research recommendations.

Keywords:

  • Maximum 5 words.

  • Examples: School, Administrator, Leadership, Excellence.

  • For conceptual studies, write the abstract according to the conceptual argument or topic.

  • Format: Times New Roman, 10 pt, left-aligned, normal, separated by commas.

References:

  • If sources are used in the abstract, format according to APA 7th edition.

  • Format: Times New Roman, 10 pt, normal.

Research Background and Author Information:

  • Include research background (e.g., [1] This study was produced from part of the 2219 TÜBİTAK project …) and author details (corresponding author, institution, email, ORCID).
    (e.g., [2] Corresponding Author, Aydın Adnan Menderes University, erkankiral74@gmail.com, ORCID: orcid.org/0000-0002-1120-7619)

Presentation Language:

  • Select the language of your presentation (Turkish or English).

Publication Permission:

  • Indicate whether you permit your research to be published in the relevant journal if accepted.

Email Address:

  • Provide a valid email address for communication and system login.

Mobile Phone:

  • Provide a valid phone number that can receive system notifications. Do not use a fixed or invalid number.
